On the road with Go Power! Solar and Adventure Basecamp

The concept of Adventure Basecamp began in June of 2017 when Steve DuBay decided to take on a DIY van conversion and travel across Canada and the United States for a year with his adventure partner-in-crime, Jeannie O’Reilly. With the help of Go Power!’s Solar Elite and Portable Solar kits, Steve and Jeannie have created a cozy mobile retreat with all the comforts of home.

Their journey kicked off on August 11, 2018 when they left their home in Seattle to start their year-long road trip. Their first stop? Vancouver Island. The Go Power! team was fortunate enough to meet this lovely couple and see our solar panels in action before they headed into the island’s wilderness.
