HR Business Partner

A leader in renewable energy in the RV and Utility vehicles markets, Dometic Mobile Power Solutions provides complete mobile renewable power solutions for manufacturing and retail customers. Our rapidly growing business means we need to add to our management team. We are seeking an HR Business Partner who will provide broad HR support for our Victoria, BC and Bend, Oregon locations. This new position will report to the VP/General Manager, and be an integral part of the management team for this growing, dynamic segment of the Dometic business in the Americas. The HR Business Partner will provide leadership, advice and support on all HR matters. Specifically, we are looking for someone who will:

Take the lead on, or assist with the full range of HR activities, such as:

  • Lead or assist with recruitment and selection processes
  • Proactively manage employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to employees and managers
  • Assist with resolving conflicts and conducting investigations
  • Oversee group performance management processes and provide coaching and support to managers in addressing performance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international employment laws and regulations.
  • Implement and support initiaties to enhance employee engagement
  • Ensure effective and efficient benefits administration 
  • Utilize HR Analytics to identify, track, assess and report on trends and outcomes to provide insights into data-driven decisions related to staffing
  • Where needed, identify training needs and suggest training activities, all in service of promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development
  • Implement strategies to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace and promote diversity, inclusion and equity within the organization

And who brings the following:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • HR Certification (CPHR) is a significant asset
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, with proven abilities leading the full range of talent management functions, including managing an HRIS
  • Knowledge of HR principles and best practices, including local/national/international employment laws (in particular, BC and Oregon legislation

  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex HR issues.
  • Interpersonal Skills: High level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and relationship-building skills.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and environments.

 

Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 (CDN)
