Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to shop.gopowersolar.com and gopowersolar.com (the "Site") and to purchases made through it. The Site is operated by Go Power US, doing business as Go Power!, a Dometic company ("Go Power!", "we", "us"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Warranty terms are part of these Terms.

Who can buy

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. We sell to customers with a street shipping address in the contiguous United States.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship the product. We may refuse or cancel an order, including after you've been charged, if a product is unavailable, if there's an error in price or product information, or if we suspect fraud or a breach of these Terms. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and don't include applicable taxes, which are added at checkout. Shipping charges are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. We may change prices at any time, but a change won't affect an order we've already accepted. You agree that the payment information you give us is accurate and that you're authorized to use it.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Shipping terms are in our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. Product defects are covered by the Go Power! product warranty; see our Warranty page. Lithium batteries are final sale once shipped, but they remain covered by warranty.

Products sold by other retailers

Some products on the Site are sold by partner retailers, such as Dometic or etrailer, and link to their stores. Those purchases are made with that retailer and are governed by its terms, not these Terms.

Product information and safe use

We work to keep product descriptions, specifications, prices and availability accurate, but errors can happen. We may correct them at any time. Install and use products only as described in their manuals. For 120V AC wiring, inverters, transfer switches and lithium batteries, we recommend a qualified RV technician or electrician. Sizing tools, calculators, guides and chat answers on the Site are general guidance and aren't a substitute for checking your own system or the product documentation.

Your use of the Site

Don't misuse the Site. That includes trying to access it without permission, interfering with how it works, scraping it in bulk, or using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or end access for anyone who does.

Reviews and content you submit

If you post a review, question or other content, you confirm it's yours to share and accurate, and you give us permission to use, display and adapt it in connection with our products and the Site. We may remove content at our discretion.

Intellectual property

The Site's text, images, videos, documents and software are owned by Go Power!, Dometic or their licensors. Go Power!, Dometic, Zamp Solar and their logos are trademarks of Dometic or its affiliates. You may view, download and print Site content for personal, non-commercial use, such as installing or using your product. Any other use needs our written permission.

Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or use third-party sites and services, including payment providers, carriers and apps. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimer

Except for the express product warranty and as required by law, the Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Go Power!, Dometic and their affiliates won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Site or products bought through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order won't exceed the amount you paid for that order. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law.

Indemnity

You agree to cover any losses or costs we incur because you broke these Terms or misused the Site.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Site, with its "Last updated" date, applies to your use of the Site and to orders placed after that date.
