PRODUCT DETAILS
DuraLite panels are not weatherproof and should not be left out in the rain; they are designed for portable, temporary deployment.
The Go Power! DuraLite 100W Expansion Panel adds 100W to a DuraLite kit — or charges a portable power station on its own — without a controller of its own. It is the same ultra-light, fabric-laminated folding panel as the kits, with kickstand legs, USB ports in the handles, quick-connect leads and a 12 ft cable, adding about 30Ah a day in summer (12Ah in winter). Chain up to three panels (300W) on a DuraLite kit's built-in 30A controller. 2-year warranty and a North American support team (part of Dometic).
Built to the standard RV manufacturers install
Go Power! has designed mobile power since 1996 and is the solar brand fitted at the factory by Jayco, Forest River, Thor and other leading RV builders. The DuraLite range is the portable companion to that factory solar: its quick-connect leads match the DuraLite kits and its adapters fit standard solar inputs. Part of Dometic.
Two ways to use it
Plug it into a DuraLite 100W or 200W kit to grow the array; the kit's controller regulates everything. Or connect it to a portable power station's solar input with the included adapters — the station's own charger handles regulation. Do not connect it directly to a battery without a controller.

WHAT IT RUNS
What 100W of solar puts back each day: about 30Ah into a 12V battery on a sunny spring or summer day and about 12Ah in fall and winter, the same rule our RV solar calculator uses (30Ah and 12Ah per 100W per day). Compare that with what your gear draws:
Figures are for this panel alone; add them to what your DuraLite kit produces.
| Typical 12V camping day | Daily draw | 100W of solar (summer) |
|---|---|---|
| Storage: parasitic draws of a parked RV | ≈ 4Ah/day | Covered daily in summer |
| Weekend basics: LED lights, vent fan, water pump, phone & laptop charging | ≈ 25Ah/day | Covered daily in summer |
| 12V compressor fridge alone, 24 h | ≈ 50Ah/day | ≈ 60% in summer — add ≈ 100W or run a generator/shore day |
| Fridge camp: basics + 12V compressor fridge | ≈ 75Ah/day | ≈ 40% in summer — add ≈ 150W or run a generator/shore day |
| Fridge camp + furnace blower (4 h, cold nights) | ≈ 100Ah/day | ≈ 30% in summer — add ≈ 250W or run a generator/shore day |
| Full comfort: fridge, furnace, CPAP, TV through inverter | ≈ 140Ah/day | ≈ 21% in summer — add ≈ 400W or run a generator/shore day |
Rule of thumb: match panel watts to battery amp-hours (100W per 100Ah) for a bank that recovers from an overnight draw by mid-afternoon. A lithium battery accepts the full charge current; a lead-acid bank should not be discharged below 50%.

FAQ
Can I use it without a DuraLite kit?
Yes, with a portable power station or any system that already has a solar charge controller. Never connect an unregulated panel straight to a battery.
Which power stations does it work with?
Most stations with a 12–24V solar input. You may need the station maker's adapter cable (solar connector, DC barrel or Anderson); the panel's quick-connect leads terminate in standard connectors.
How do I add it to my DuraLite kit?
Unfold both panels, plug the expansion panel's quick-connect lead into the kit panel's expansion port, and the kit's built-in 30A controller handles the extra current. Up to three panels (300W) can be chained.
Can I leave it out in the rain?
No. DuraLite panels are not weatherproof: they are designed for portable, temporary deployment and should be folded away in rain.
Is Go Power! the solar installed in my RV from the factory?
Very likely, if your coach is a Jayco, Forest River, Thor or many other brands. Go Power! has supplied RV manufacturers since 1996, and the DuraLite kits are the portable companion to that factory solar.
