Why it mattered for Go Power!
Dometic named mobile power as a strategic growth area, and the acquisition significantly expanded its mobile solar presence through Go Power!. Go Power! was already the solar brand RV manufacturers fit at the factory, so the deal paired the solar and power electronics on new coaches with Dometic’s appliances, climate and cooling products, and its global distribution and support.
“I am pleased to welcome Valterra and its employees to Dometic,” said Juan Vargues, President and CEO of Dometic, in the announcement.
Go Power! today
Go Power! is now part of Dometic Mobile Power Solutions, alongside Zamp Solar, which Dometic acquired a month later. The same North American team supports Go Power! RV solar kits, pure sine wave inverters, inverter chargers, lithium batteries and the PowerTrak™ monitoring system.
