PRODUCT DETAILS
A Go Power! Inverter Install Kit gives you the correctly sized fuse and 10 ft of heavy-gauge battery cable with lugs, clamps and ties, so the inverter is protected at the battery the way the installation manual — and your insurer — expect. Choose the kit by inverter wattage: KIT1 for 200–600 W, KIT2 for 600–1,000 W, KIT3 for 1,100–1,800 W at 12 V.
| Inverter size (12 V) | Kit | Protection | Cable |
|---|---|---|---|
| 200–600 W | GP-DC-KIT1 | 60 A inline fuse | 10 ft #6 AWG |
| 600–1,000 W | GP-DC-KIT2 | 100 A fuse block | 10 ft #4 AWG |
| 1,100–1,800 W | GP-DC-KIT3 or 175 A breaker kit | 200 A fuse / 175 A breaker | 10 ft #2 AWG |
| 2,000–2,500 W | 250 A breaker kit | 250 A breaker | Heavy-gauge set |
24 V inverters draw half the DC current of a 12 V inverter of the same wattage, so size the kit by current: a 1,500 W 24 V unit (~70 A) suits GP-DC-KIT2; 2,000–3,000 W 24 V units (~90–140 A) suit GP-DC-KIT3 or the 175 A breaker kit. Keep DC runs under 10 ft and fuse at the battery.
Built to the standard RV manufacturers install
Go Power! has designed mobile power since 1996 and is the inverter brand fitted at the factory by Jayco, Forest River, Thor and other leading RV builders. These are the same installation parts the plants and dealers use, backed by a North American support team (part of Dometic).

FAQ
Which kit do I need?
Match the kit to the inverter’s continuous wattage at 12 V: KIT1 (60 A, #6 AWG) up to 600 W, KIT2 (100 A, #4 AWG) up to 1,000 W, KIT3 (200 A, #2 AWG) up to 1,800 W. For 2,000–2,500 W use the 250 A breaker kit. 24 V inverters draw half the current, so step down one size.
Why a Class T fuse?
Class T fuses have a very high DC interrupt rating, so they safely clear a dead-short on a large battery bank where ordinary automotive fuses can arc. Install the fuse within 18 in of the battery positive terminal.
How long can the cables be?
10 ft per cable is the maximum for the gauge supplied. Longer runs increase voltage drop and heat; mount the inverter close to the batteries.
Does the kit include the inverter remote?
No — the ISW remote is sold separately.
Is Go Power! the kit my RV came with?
Go Power! has supplied RV manufacturers since 1996 and is fitted at the factory by Jayco, Forest River, Thor and many other brands; these are the same install kits the plants and dealers use.
