PRODUCT DETAILS

The Go Power! GP-ADV-LITH-100 is a 12-volt, 100Ah (1,280Wh) lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery with a built-in battery management system, self-heating for sub-freezing charging, Bluetooth monitoring through the Go Power! Connect app, and RV-C communication for the PowerTrak™ system. It delivers up to 200A continuous discharge (100A recommended) with 400A surge, accepts up to 100A of charge, is rated for 3,000 cycles, weighs 28.7 lb, and is tested to UL 2054 (ETL Listed). It is covered by a 10-year pro-rated warranty and a North American support team (part of Dometic).

Built to the standard RV manufacturers install

Go Power! has designed mobile power since 1996 and is the battery and inverter brand fitted at the factory by Jayco, Forest River, Thor and other leading RV builders. The Sun Cycle® Advanced Lithium line is the battery those plants specify today: a sealed IP67 ABS case with recessed handles, M8 terminals, and a BMS that protects against over- and under-voltage, over- and under-temperature, charge and discharge over-current and short circuit, with automatic cell balancing across banks of up to eight batteries. Part of Dometic.

Charges below freezing — safely

Lithium cells are damaged by charging below 0°C, which is why most lithium batteries simply refuse to charge on a cold morning. The built-in DC heater turns on automatically when the pack drops below 2°C (36°F) and a charging source is present, warms the cells to 7°C (45°F), then charging resumes — so your solar and shore charging keep working through shoulder-season and winter trips.

See everything from your phone or the PowerTrak™ display

Bluetooth and the Go Power! Connect app show state of charge, voltage, current, temperature and BMS status. On the RV-C network with a PowerTrak™ display, Dometic MPPT controller and Go Power! inverter or inverter/charger, the battery reports true state of charge to the whole system so charge sources and low-voltage cut-offs act on real data instead of a voltage guess.

3,000 cycles, 10-year pro-rated warranty

Rated for 3,000 charge cycles at 25°C — roughly eight years of daily full cycles — with usable capacity close to 100% versus the 50% you can safely draw from lead-acid. Flat voltage under load means your inverter sees 13V with 20% left instead of sagging at half-charge.

Right-sized for most RVs and vans

One 100Ah lithium battery delivers about the same usable energy as two 100Ah AGMs at less than half the weight — enough for lights, fans, a 12V fridge, laptops and a CPAP for a day or two, or a few minutes of microwave through a 2000W inverter. Wire up to eight in parallel as your needs grow, or step up to the 300Ah Advanced Lithium for a single-case bank that runs a residential fridge and inverter loads without parallel cabling.

WHAT IT RUNS

Approximate runtimes from one 100Ah Advanced Lithium battery, assuming ≈1,152Wh usable and 90% inverter efficiency for AC loads. Real-world results depend on temperature, load pattern and how fully you recharge. Add solar or shore charging to extend any of these.

FAQ
How long will a 100Ah lithium battery run my RV?

A 100Ah LiFePO4 battery holds about 1,280Wh, nearly all of it usable. That is a day or two of lights, fans, 12V fridge, laptops and a CPAP, or roughly an hour of microwave through an inverter. See the What It Powers table above for appliance-by-appliance estimates, and add solar to extend them.

Can I replace my AGM or flooded batteries with this lithium battery?

Yes, and it is the most common upgrade. Lithium is a drop-in replacement for 12V lead-acid as long as your charger has a lithium profile: a Go Power! or Dometic MPPT solar controller, the AIC inverter/charger, or a converter with a 14.4V lithium setting. Older single-stage converters that float at 13.6V will leave it undercharged. Remove the old batteries entirely — do not mix chemistries in one bank.

Will it charge in freezing weather?

Yes. Lithium cells should never be charged below 0°C, so the BMS blocks charging when cold — but this battery's built-in DC heater turns on automatically below 2°C (36°F) whenever a charging source is connected, warms the pack to 7°C (45°F), and charging resumes. The heater is powered by the charging source, not the battery, so it cannot drain you overnight.

How many cycles does it last, and what does the warranty cover?

Rated for 3,000 charge/discharge cycles at 25°C — about eight years of daily full cycles, or far longer at typical RV use. It carries a 10-year pro-rated warranty from Go Power!, backed by a North American support team; register it after purchase.

How many can I connect together?

Up to eight in parallel for a 12V bank of 800Ah, or up to four in series for 24V, 36V or 48V systems. Use the Go Power! inter-battery data harness so the BMS units balance and report as one bank, and use identical batteries of the same age.

What size inverter can it run?

The BMS supports 200A continuous (100A recommended) and 400A surge, which runs a 1500W inverter at full load or a 2000W inverter for typical RV loads; pair two or more in parallel for sustained 2000–3000W use. Keep DC cables short and fused per the inverter manual.

What does the Bluetooth app show?

The Go Power! Connect app (iOS and Android) shows state of charge, voltage, charge and discharge current, cell temperature, heater status and any BMS protection events, and lets you switch the battery between on, off and sleep modes.

What is PowerTrak™ and do I need it?

PowerTrak™ is Go Power!'s RV-C network: this battery shares real state of charge with Dometic MPPT solar controllers, Go Power! SSW/ASW/AIC inverters and the PowerTrak™ display, so the whole system acts on actual battery data. You don't need it to use the battery — Bluetooth works alone — but it is how you get one screen for solar, battery and inverter.

Is it safe? What certifications does it carry?

LiFePO4 is the most thermally stable lithium chemistry — no thermal runaway at normal operating temperatures. The battery is ETL Listed to UL 2054 (household and commercial batteries), CE and UKCA certified, and UN38.3 tested for transport. The sealed IP67 case is rated for dust and water spray but should not be submerged.

How should I store it over the winter?

Charge or discharge to about 50% (13.2V), switch it off or put it in sleep mode from the app, and store between -20°C and 25°C. Give it a charge-discharge cycle at least every six months. Unlike lead-acid, it does not need to be kept on a float charger and loses very little charge in storage (under 20µA draw when off).

Is Go Power! the battery installed in my RV from the factory?

Very likely, if your coach is a Jayco, Forest River, Thor or many other brands. Go Power! has supplied RV manufacturers since 1996, and the Sun Cycle® Advanced Lithium line is the current OEM lithium battery, so it is the direct upgrade or replacement with matching PowerTrak™ components.

How does it ship?

Lithium batteries ship as Class 9 dangerous goods by FedEx Ground within the continental US; we cannot ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Batteries arrive in shutdown mode — press the power button or activate from the app before first use.
