PRODUCT DETAILS
The Go Power! 200W Overlander Solar Kit is the complete rooftop solar system most RVs need: an all-black 200W monocrystalline panel, a 30A Bluetooth charge controller with lithium, AGM, gel and flooded profiles, SC (solar connector) wiring, mounting feet and hardware. It returns about 60Ah a day in summer (24Ah in winter) to a 12V bank — enough to run a 12V compressor fridge on an average day, or lights, fans, pump and charging with margin, on a 100Ah lithium or 200Ah AGM battery — and the 30A controller accepts up to 600W, so adding a panel for fridge-plus-everything days needs no new parts. 25-year panel warranty, 5-year controller warranty and a North American support team (part of Dometic).
Built to the standard RV manufacturers install
Go Power! has designed mobile power since 1996 and is the solar brand fitted at the factory by Jayco, Forest River, Thor and other leading RV builders. The panels, controllers, cabling and mounting feet in this kit are the same parts those plants install on solar-equipped coaches, so the kit matches factory wiring and the Go Power! systems already on the road. Part of Dometic.
Fridge-ready from day one
A 12V compressor fridge draws 45–60Ah a day; 200W of solar puts back about 60Ah on a sunny spring or summer day, enough to cover it. Running the fridge plus lights, fan and charging every day (≈ 75Ah) is where the expansion panel earns its keep. Watch it happen from your phone: the GP-SB-PWM-30-BT controller's Bluetooth link shows voltage, current and daily harvest in the Go Power! Connect app.
Grow it later
Already thinking bigger? The 200W Overlander Expansion Kit plugs into this kit with SC branch connectors, or order both together as the 400W Overlander Kit. For an MPPT controller that talks to a PowerTrak™ display, see the OBSIDIAN™ Series 9 kits.

WHAT IT RUNS
What 200W of solar puts back each day: about 60Ah into a 12V battery on a sunny spring or summer day and about 24Ah in fall and winter, the same rule our RV solar calculator uses (30Ah and 12Ah per 100W per day). Compare that with what your gear draws:
| Typical 12V camping day | Daily draw | 200W of solar (summer) |
|---|---|---|
| Storage: parasitic draws of a parked RV | ≈ 4Ah/day | Covered daily in summer |
| Weekend basics: LED lights, vent fan, water pump, phone & laptop charging | ≈ 25Ah/day | Covered daily in summer |
| 12V compressor fridge alone, 24 h | ≈ 50Ah/day | Covered daily in summer |
| Fridge camp: basics + 12V compressor fridge | ≈ 75Ah/day | ≈ 80% in summer — add ≈ 50W or run a generator/shore day |
| Fridge camp + furnace blower (4 h, cold nights) | ≈ 100Ah/day | ≈ 60% in summer — add ≈ 150W or run a generator/shore day |
| Full comfort: fridge, furnace, CPAP, TV through inverter | ≈ 140Ah/day | ≈ 43% in summer — add ≈ 300W or run a generator/shore day |
Rule of thumb: match panel watts to battery amp-hours (100W per 100Ah) for a bank that recovers from an overnight draw by mid-afternoon. A lithium battery accepts the full charge current; a lead-acid bank should not be discharged below 50%.

FAQ
What can a 200W solar kit run?
About 60Ah a day in summer (24Ah in winter): a 12V compressor fridge (45–60Ah) on an average day, or lights, fans, pump, CPAP and device charging with plenty to spare. Add the 200W expansion panel if you run the fridge plus everything else every day, camp in shoulder seasons with the furnace, or want margin for cloudy days.
Which battery does it suit?
A 100Ah or larger lithium battery, or a 200Ah or larger AGM bank. 200W of solar fully recharges 50–60Ah of overnight use by mid-afternoon.
Does the controller have Bluetooth?
Yes. The GP-SB-PWM-30-BT connects to the Go Power! Connect app on iOS and Android for live voltage, current and harvest data, and has an on-unit LCD.
How much solar does my RV need?
Start with 100W of panel per 100Ah of battery. A single 100Ah lithium battery running a 12V fridge, lights and fans uses about 50–70Ah a day, which 200W replaces on an average day; 400W covers that with margin for cloudy weather, a CPAP or inverter use. A weekend trailer with one lead-acid battery and no fridge is well served by 80–100W.
Can I expand this kit later?
Yes. Go Power! kits use solar connectors (SC) and branch connectors so a second panel plugs into the first; the controller rating sets the ceiling. A 30A PWM controller handles up to 600W of 12V panels; a 10A controller handles 200W. Expansion kits are listed under Accessories.
Will it charge lithium batteries?
Yes. The included controller has a selectable lithium (LiFePO4) profile as well as AGM, gel and flooded settings. Set the battery type once at installation.
Flat mount or tilt?
Flat is what RV manufacturers do and it is fine for most owners: simplest, lowest drag, no wind loading. Tilting toward the sun adds 20–30% in spring and fall; the adjustable tilt mount kit under Accessories makes that optional.
Does shade matter?
Yes — a shadow on one cell can cut a panel's output by half or more. Mount away from the air conditioner shroud, antennas and vents, and park with the panels clear of trees when you can.
Is Go Power! the solar installed in my RV from the factory?
Very likely, if your coach is a Jayco, Forest River, Thor or many other brands. Go Power! has supplied RV manufacturers since 1996, so this kit uses the same panels, controllers and connectors as factory solar-prep and solar-equipped coaches.
What's the warranty?
Go Power! rigid panels carry a 25-year limited power-output warranty and Go Power! controllers a 5-year warranty, backed by a North American support team (part of Dometic). Register the product after purchase.
