PRODUCT DETAILS
The Go Power! GP-SW300-12 turns 12 V battery power into 300 watts of pure sine wave AC — the same clean power as a wall outlet — for a TV, laptop, chargers or a CPAP, with two GFCI outlets and battery cables in the box. It is UL 458 listed for vehicle use and is a discontinued model offered at outlet pricing while stock lasts.
Built to the standard RV manufacturers install
Go Power! has designed mobile power since 1996 and is the inverter brand fitted at the factory by Jayco, Forest River, Thor and other leading RV builders. These previous-generation models are sold here at outlet pricing while stock lasts, with the same 2-year warranty and the same North American support team (part of Dometic). For the current lineup see the Smart Sine Wave and Advanced Sine Wave inverters.
FEATURES
- 300 W continuous / 450 W surge, pure sine wave <3% THD.
- Two GFCI outlets; full overload protection.
- UL 458 listed (mobile/vehicle inverters).
- Battery cables included — plug-and-play.
- 2-year warranty + North American support (part of Dometic).
WHAT IT RUNS
Size by the continuous rating and leave headroom for start-up surges. Typical draws: phone/laptop 20–90 W, 32 in TV 50–80 W, CPAP 30–60 W, blender 300–600 W, coffee maker 600–1,000 W, microwave 700–1,200 W (1,000–1,700 W input), hair dryer 1,200–1,800 W. A 300 W inverter draws about 28 A from a 12 V battery at full load, so a 100 Ah 12 V lithium bank runs it flat-out for roughly 3.5 hours.

FAQ
What can a 300-watt inverter run?
Anything whose running watts stay under 300 W and whose start-up surge stays under the surge rating. Laptops, a TV, chargers, a CPAP, small fans.
Pure sine wave or modified sine wave?
Pure sine wave is the same clean power as a wall outlet and runs everything — TVs, laptops, CPAPs, induction cooktops, microwaves — quietly and at full efficiency. Modified sine wave is a stepped approximation that is fine for tools, lights and resistive loads but can buzz, run hot or damage sensitive electronics and some chargers. This model is pure sine wave.
Which install kit do I need?
The SW300 ships with battery cables. For a fused permanent install use GP-DC-KIT1 (60 A, #6 AWG).
How do I switch it on and off remotely?
This model does not have a remote port; use the on-board power switch. If you need remote on/off, see the current SSW and ASW series.
How big a battery do I need?
Figure amp-hours from watt-hours: a 300 W load for one hour uses about 26 Ah from a 12 V bank. Lithium can be drawn to near empty; AGM should stop around 50%. Keep the inverter within a few feet of the batteries and use the cable gauge from the install kit guide.
Is this a current model?
This is a previous-generation Go Power! inverter sold at outlet pricing while stock lasts. It carries the full 2-year warranty and North American support. The current series are the SSW (hardwire and outlet) and ASW (built-in transfer switch) inverters.
Is Go Power! the inverter installed in my RV from the factory?
Very likely, if your coach is a Jayco, Forest River, Thor or one of many other brands — Go Power! has supplied RV manufacturers since 1996, so these are the same products and the same support team your dealer uses.
What is the warranty?
Two years against defects in materials and workmanship, backed by Go Power!’s North American support team (part of Dometic).
