GO POWER! SUPPORTS “DRAB TO FAB” PROJECT WITH RV WOMEN’S ALLIANCE

How often does a group of women get to renovate and redesign a travel trailer? Over the next six months, the RV Women’s Alliance’s Drab to Fab project will do exactly that.
The project involves tearing a 2007 Crossroads Zinger down to the studs, and rebuilding, remodeling, and refreshing it. The remodeled unit is set to be revealed at a VIP Event and at the Girl Camper Jamboree in Spring 2021, and raffled off to raise funds for the RVWA.
Go Power! is supporting this build by providing a 380-watt Solar Elite Charging System and a 250ah Lithium Battery.
“We’re proud to support Drab to Fab… this kind of project is right up our alley,” said Eva Mitic, Marketing Manager for Go Power!.
“These women are inspiring and we are excited to see how the finished product comes out. I’d be down there with a sledgehammer if I could!”

The Build

Tear-down began this past Saturday at the RV Technical Institute, the industry’s leading training center located in the heart of Elkhart, Indiana. Taking place on select Wednesdays and Saturdays, the build will continue through February 2021.

“Our first week of demo was so fun! Everyone who participated came away with not only a sense of accomplishment but also excitement for the transformation that will take place over the next six months,” said Susan Carpenter, RV Women’s Alliance President.

What is the RV Women’s Alliance?

The RV Women’s Association (RVWA) supports women in the RV industry. With members from across the continent, (and of all genders,) the RVWA aims to unite, inspire, recruit and develop both individuals and the industry.
